may require binding.

He will attend to all clerical details connected with the

following duties:·

(a) Issuing, renewing, visaing and endorsing of Passports.

(b) Issuing Certificates (Travelling).

(c) Maintenance of the record of visas granted.

(d) Maintenance of the record of endorsements made.

(e) Record of all passports matters.

(f) Attending to enquiries by members of the public.

(g) Maintenance of card index of names and rulings, etc.

(h) Other clerical duties relating to passports.

He will attend to the following clerical details connected with

Finance:-

(a) Preparation of Receipts for signature and issue to payer.

(b) Personally enter in Cash Book as they occur all transactions

to be recorded therein.

(c) Pay all moneys received into the Bank daily and see that

the Bank 'pay in' Slip is sent to Treasury as soon as it is

returned from Bank on same day.

(d) Safe custody of money that may be in hand owing to the

payments having been made after Bank is closed.

(e) Checking of Paysheets.

(f) Preparation of cheques.

(g) Attend the Bank at the end of each month to pay in C.S.O.

salaries cheque received from Treasury and draw cash to

pay the salaries of attendants, messengers, etc.

(h) Preparation of Annual Estimates (Colonial Secretary's

Office portion).

(i) Preparation of Colonial Secretary's Office special warrants.

He will attend to all clerical details connected with Finance

Committee:-

(a) Maintenance of Finance Committee message book.

(b) Maintenance of Finance Committee circulating book.

(c) Preparation of Colonial Secretary's Office supplementary

votes.
